Great quality product, but I still had to take my pair of boots to a local shoe shop for modification to fit. Your boots do NOT allow someone with a high instep to wear them with comfort.
I had to have the tongue cut to allow my foot into the boot. Certainly not something one would expect from footwear that is so expensive. I have boots from other makers that fit far better.
Unfortunate, since every other aspect of your product is absolutely top grade.
very much enjoyed your video, only wish that I could tour your factory, I have arthurist in right foot, making boot fitting extreamly hard. One day my Danners fit wonderfully, next day, right foot is unbearable.
This happens with all makes of shoes, not just yours.
This is an amazing and enlightening video. I always wanted to see how my boots are made. So much work goes into making the best boots in the world and the craftsmen are very skilled. I am very happy that the factory that makes my boots is still in the USA. I do not think that there is a more qualified bunch of people in the boot making industry. Even though each workers task is somewhat simple, it seems like they have perfected and increased the efficiency of their work. I’m sure they have much pride in their work and it shows because of a superior product that ends up at my door. Thank You Danner and all your employees!
Danner,
If your boots are as well made as your video, I’m sure they are tops. Could and should be used as a career education video for prospective craftsmen when America gets back on the right track.
Who is the handsome devil narrating the video?

I’ve been wearing danner boots, since 1980, and must say you make the best boots under the sun.I have purchased other boot makers, including- italian boots, But my heart and loyalty belongs to danner.
In addition, all of your employees are craftmen, and that’s an understatement, Keep up your excellence.
This Danner factory video is awesome- nicely done! However, I wanted to comment on the guy who said he was proud his boots are “USA made”… Not all Danner boots are USA made. I was told by an associate most are now made overseas.
