I currently own two pair of Danner boots. My first pair was from Cabela’s several years ago. One boot leaked and my foot got wet as I was in a lot of wet areas. The boots are the most comfortable and lighntest I have ever worn. I need to get them refurbished as they are really worn and the wedge sole is real worn on the heels but I still wear them.
I may have gotten into a thorn or something but just don’t know. The Gore-Tex may have had a problem. I just avoided getting wet after they first leaked. They are so comfortable and light for an insulated boot.
