I bought these OUTSTANDING Danner Light military boots you see in the picture over 20 years ago while on active duty in the Marine Corps; I was a very young Captain then and flew helicopters. I wore these boots while flying, trudging through the Jungles in the Phillipines, Okinawa, Africa, Europe, Tunisia, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, in the desert, in the high Rocky Mountains in freezing weather, on Navy ships, every day duty and the first Gulf War! You name it, and these Danners were in my Ruck Sack!!! They need some Danner Boot dressing to bring them back to looking like new, but I still wear them quite often for rugged outdoor activities, cutting down trees, and hunting. I remember wading through water and snow in these boots all the time and they always kept my feet dry; they never leaked one droplet of water on my feet! I was always amazed at how waterproof and durable these boots were!!! I never had time to send them off for resoling because I didn’t want to risk not having them during the call to duty in the Corps. I’m buying three more pairs of boots from Danner as this company is the only boot company in business that makes what they preach!!! I will take these boots to my grave and when I retire some day, my first pair of Danners you see here will be on display for all of my buddies to see!!! Thank you Danner for continuing to be an outstanding company that doens’t comprimise on quality just to make a buck!!!
