Chris Denham

All good things must come to an end including hunting season. With each passing year Chris Denham seems to judge his success in the field in terms of time spent with family and friends, seeing new country experiencing new adventures, and less on the inches of antler or horns.
January through May is his “busy season”. Along with editing Western Hunter Magazine he also has a service for help with hunting permit applications.
The first half of the year is also the busiest time of the year for wildlife conservation organizations. Chris currently sits on the board of directors of four different groups, doing what he can to help protect habitat and preserve hunting heritage.
Chris says, “The hardest part of this season is trying to stay in decent shape! The seven day a week schedule, travel, fast food and hours at the desk take their toll. This year I am committed to taking some time to hike (and look for bighorn sheep) in the Superstition Mountains east of my home. Hopefully I can get some good pictures and test some more good boots!”
